Due to several complications that Colossal Booking has been experiencing on the European scene the IIIrd Alternative Euro Tour has been postponed until fall 2012.
With no doubt this is said in some sense of regret but none the less we now find ourselves in a great composing fase which we will embrace further meanwhile we look towards the fall to meet you all out there.
All this said – The gig with Russian Circles is still on…!
IIIrd Alternative will tomorrow be performing all new compositions never before played outside the studio.
This will take place on Thursday 9/2-12 22.00 at Post-Fest @ Train, Aarhus, DK.

The Danish quintet IIIrd Alternative has on the 11/11-`11 at 11.11AM in 111 copies released their début album ”IIIA” for pre-order in a limited edition double vinyl including exclusive artwork.
The album was released earlier this year in a limited release edition as well as for digital download and has been receiving great reviews especially from outside Denmark.
IIIrd Alternative describes their music as follows:
“The alternative mirrored moving in a continuous arbitrary rotation, leaning towards metal stumbling into post-rock and passing prog-rock. Lingering in ambient spheres with a clue to undertones of an electronic dimension.
Music for us is the most direct form of creative expression of moods with feelings and sensations for both artist and listener. IIIrd Alternative are exploring the possibilities that instrumental music offers in terms of not dictating or predefining the perception of the moods and feelings the listener should sense or feel. As we do not imply in words or pictures the thoughts and mood to the listener, we have the potential to create an atmosphere where an audience can have totally different experiences from the same source of communication.”
